HARJU ELEKTER taxonomy reporting

In the 2021 report, the beneficiaries of the taxonomy regulation had to report on the eligibility of their activities and costs under the taxonomy regulation. Thus, the purpose of Harju Elektri’s 2021 taxonomy report was to map which of their activities are classified as economic activities that contribute to climate change mitigation or adaptation.

Main activities

At the beginning of the project, we conducted a seminar on ESG reporting and the taxonomy regulation for key personnel of the Harju Elekter Group.

Process stages

In order to facilitate the mapping of Harju Elektr's taxonomy activities - we upgraded and adapted the "Taxonomy Compass" tool to meet the requirements of the 2021 report and to serve as an informative and supportive guide for the Harju Elektr team.

Final project phase

During the course of the project, the Harju Elektri team delved deeper into defining the terms and conditions of the taxonomy regulation and the classifications in order to get as accurate an overview of their activities as possible. This year's in-depth work gives Harju Elektri a strong starting position for next year, when large listed companies will have to assess the alignment of their activities with the technical screening criteria of the Taxonomy Regulation.

Results

The result was a comprehensive, comprehensive 2020 Annual Report with an attractive, easy-to-read design that describes the context and relevance of sustainability for Utilitas, the activities and results of the year under review, and future ambitions for ESG and sustainability. In the 2021 report, we helped to further develop the design, complement the content and add new perspectives where needed.
